I'm not dead! And it's summer!
Haha, sorry about being supposedly absent for so long. I just never got around to posting anything new!
Even though it's summer and I have a ton of time...
Meh. Summer hasn't been that interesting for me yet, besides the weekends. Mom's been making me do chores. Bah humbug.
But, like I said. The weekends have been fun. Two weekends ago, we went to a Native American resort and they just happened to be having a Pow-wow that weekend! It was so cool, seeing all their traditional clothes and dancing.
And then, this last weekend, we went up to the San Juan Islands to go whale watching. We saw a pod of Killer Whales that had about thirty whales in it. We had a couple of close encounters, too! This one HUGE killer whale came right behind our boat! It couldn't have been more than about forty feet behind the boat. Then, later, this other whale popped up about TWENTY feet from the boat! It was amazing! And this one random lady behind me got so excited that she grabbed my arm and started jumping up and down. I didn't mind, though, cause I was just standing there, pointing at the whale and blubbering like an idiot. XD

No More Braces!
That's right, I got my braces off today! Wahoo! It feels really great! After four years of these dumb things, it's good to have them off.
It kinda feels wierd, though, not having jaggedy metal sticking off my teeth... but I like it. I like it a lot. ^^
Oh, and for those of you who didn't know, my birthday was this month. I'm 17 now! :D
One of my birthday presents was a class ring. It'll be awesometastic... when it comes. It won't get here for another three weeks... but oh well. =)
Um, the next few weeks will be pretty busy for me. I've got an AP English test (AP = Advanced Placement = College level course) next Thursday, and the day before that is IT day, which is really fun. Last year the guest speaker at IT day was Adam and Jaymie from the MythBusters. It was epic. =) The speaker won't be that awesome this year, but it'll still be fun.
Then, a week after that, my uncle Scott is getting married, so I get to go to his wedding! I actually have a dress and everything. Pretty much the only dress I've owned for, like... four years? Lol. I'm not a dress person.
Anyways, I'm done. TTFN! =)

Spring break!!!11!1!one!!1
Yup, that's right, I'm on SPRING BREAK, baby!!
Which basically means I'll be doing a ton of chores. >.< Um, but it also means I get to do some fun stuffs. Like, today, I saw the movie Monsters Vs. Aliens. HILARIOUS. You have GOT to see that. =3 Pretty much anyone will love it, no matter what age. Also, being spring break, it's obviously SPRING. Yup. I love spring. 8D Um, and it was also St. Patrick's day not long ago, and I love St. Patty's day, so... guess what? I got bored and drew a St. Patrick's Day horse. Cause I'm random like that. XD I named him Murphy McNally. ^^
I suck at horses. His hind legs are... off, somehow. And hooves are impossible. >.<

Day off~
Ergh, sorry for not posting in the last... two weeks. Hehe. I've been kinda busy. Yup, that's my excuse. I had time today (no school! Yay!) so I decided to post.
Last weekend, I saw the Twilight movie!!! It was EPIC. Pretty awesome, actually. I liked it. Except for the actors they had for Jacob and Jasper. They looked... off. Jacob looked to baby-ish, and Jasper just looked like he needed a hug. lol. But I think Jasper's hair should have been black and slicked back, not blonde and all... poofy-ish. But I liked the movie, it was great.
And then, yesterday... one of my bestest friends came over! She lives about six hours away, so it was pretty cool that she actually came. She and her mom were on a college trip and decided to stop by... it was a blast. She and I talked for about three hours nonstop. Hehe.

Spirit Week
So, to recap this weekend...
Saturday
Me, my brother, and my Grandma and Grandpa went to brunch at a restaurant called The Country Gentleman, then went bowling. Bowling was fun. ^^ I like bowling with Grandma and Grandpa. But bowling made my arms hurt, for some reason. =/
Then, after bowling, I drove over to my friend's house and we went shopping at the mall. Normally I'm not the type of person who just randomly goes shopping, but I just FELT like going shopping. Not to mention Kelly (my friend) was all alone and bored, since her dad works on Saturdays and she doesn't have a mom (her mom's alive, but lives way over in Tennessee). So decided to fix her boredom. Besides, this week is Spirit Week at my school, and Tuesday is Twin Day, and we didn't have any matching shirts. Well, now we both have a black shirt that has "I kissed a vampire and... I liked it!" printed on the front. She's a big Twilight fan (and so am I, but I'm not nearly as big a fan as she is. I just like the books, that's all.) so she practically bounced out of her shoes when she saw the shirt. Lol. Then I brought her home, and I went home, and that was the end of my day, pretty much.
Sunday
Not much, really. Slept in, stayed at home, cleaned, did homework. That's about it.
Today
Regular school day, kinda. I found my AP English class hilarious, though. Someone had rearranged the desks, so everyone practically freaked out. XD We all laughed about it afterwards. We also continued to work on our projects, which is basically reading children's book. So, you've got all these kids in a college-level class, reading Dr. Seuss. XDDDD My book is Horton Hears a Who! which is my favorite Seuss book, and one of my favorite movies. But I never realized how violent the book was. I mean, sheesh, for a kid's book, it's pretty bad. It's going on about how they beat and mauled Horton, and stuff. o_O Pretty crazy stuff here. Which is why we're reading them, really. Because they have hidden depth.
Then, in my Spanish class, the teacher had been fed up with dealing with all our hyperness (which is kinda to be expected, since the class is right after lunch, so everyone's on a bit of a sugar high) so she had us all lay our heads down for a minute, then she had us stand up and flap our arms around for a while. It actually worked surprisingly well. XD
Well anyways, I think that's a good enough wall of text (lol, sorry guys, but I like to rant. Hehe) so I'll call it quits there.

HELLO EVERYBODY.
Well hi there all you peoples! I'm Nikki, aka Snikkers. Snikkers is a nickname some of my friends came up with a while back, and it just kinda stuck. It's funny how those things work, ain't it?
So anyways... more about me.
I love being random and I love making people laugh (in case you couldn't tell by the title photo, lol), so I'll probably have something funny in pretty much every post. It's just who I am.
I'm very opinionated, too, and just a little stubborn, and I'm not afraid of posting my opinions and standing by them. So be warned, if you don't like people whose opinions differ from yours... go somewhere else, 'kay? Cause otherwise I'll probably end up arguing with you. XD
I'm also a little immature, but aren't we all? Hehe.
I love music, especially 80's rock, although I listen to pretty much anything except rap. Rap just sucks. Well, except for this one song by Wierd Al, but that doesn't count since it's a song that's making fun of a rap song. The song is "White and Nerdy"
Speaking of nerdy, I can get pretty nerdy at times. I took a PC troubleshooting class a few years ago and built a smallish robot. I still collect Pokemon cards. I spend about three hours a day on the computer.
I love playing video games (I have a wii, computer, PS2, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advanced, and a Nintendo DS) but, on the other hand, I love to read, especially sci-fi and fantasy books.
Speaking of fantasy, I'm obsessed with dragons. I have an entire wall in my room covered in dragon posters. Dragons are awesometastic.
Then again, so are most animals (real or not). I'm an animal lover. ^^ I have two of the most adorable cats ever, Abby and her brother Mustang.
I also like to write. And draw. Drawing is fun. I draw a lot. So maybe I'll post some of my art sometime. I like to take photos too, so you can bet yer bottom I'm gonna have some photos I've taken on here. I'll try my best to resist from retro-posting, though. Otherwise you'll all be swamped in photos I've taken in the past. XD
